Clifford L. Holt, O.D.

Dr. Holt is a native Kansan whose family has lived in Kansas since before it was a state. He grew up in Parsons, KS. While there, he worked for ten years at the swimming pool where he was a Red Cross Water Safety instructor and lifeguard. He also earned his Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts at the age of 13. He attended Labette County High School and Pittsburg State University in southeast Kansas. Dr. Holt graduated Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1987. He opened his practice in Shawnee immediately after graduating and becoming licensed. He is active in several optometric organizations, including the American Optometric Society and American Optometric Association. He has served on national advisory panels with managed care organizations for over 10 years.
Dr. Holt enjoys sporting activities, and has served as the head coach of the Heartbreakers travel fastpitch team for 13 years. Dr. Holt's wife, Julie, has worked in the office from day one and runs the filing of medical insurances for the practice. They have two daughters, Hannah and Holly. |
Jamie Johnson, O.D.

Dr. Johnson is a native Kansan and grew up in Wichita, KS. She studied biology, chemistry, and Spanish at Kansas Wesleyan University and graduated in 2006 with Magna Cum Laude honors. While attending Kansas Wesleyan University, she met her husband Aaron. She continued her education at Illinois College of Optometry and graduated in 2010. Dr. Johnson moved to Chicago, IL and worked for 10 years at a practice. She relocated to Westwood to be closer to her family. Dr. Johnson is busy at home with her husband, young son and her crazy dog. She enjoys spending her spare time cooking, baking, fishing with her father, and watching the Chiefs play football with her husband. |
